Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst to enhance the allocation, deployment, and utilisation of AALTO operational resources, including personnel (e.g. aviation operators, maintenance, training, etc.), equipment (e.g. aircraft, support infrastructure, logistics, etc.), materials (e.g. spares, inventory, etc.) and facilities (e.g. site footprint). This role is critical to ensuring smooth and cost-efficient operations, optimising workflows, and driving project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in resource planning, process improvement, and operations analytics / modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model, analyse, and evaluate operational data to identify root cause factors impacting asset deployment and service delivery.
- Perform advanced business analysis to develop prescriptive operational improvement plans.
- Develop and implement strategic, data-driven approaches to optimise the allocation of resources, ensuring efficient utilisation of personnel, equipment, and materials and support decision-making.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting of key metrics for various operational stakeholders.
- Provide periodic reports to Strategy, CTO, and Programme & Delivery departments focusing on trends and anomalies.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to improve reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in resource planning, operations management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) and reporting and data visualisation tools and techniques (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Advanced modelling tools experience (preferred).
- Results driven with strong communication skills, along with a collaborative mindset and aptitude for problem solving.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations is a plus.
